Tahini and Date Honey (Silan) Spread

This is one healthy spread that is also great in flavour!  It contains an abundance of nutrients   that boost energy and promote well being.  Besides tasting absolutely wonderful – it is super easy to make and will keep unrefrigerated for weeks when stored away from heat and sunlight. 
 

Ingredients:

Equal parts:
Tahini
Silan (may be substituted with honey)
 

Preparation:

In bowl mix equal quantities of tahini and silan (or honey) until completely blended.  Store     in an airtight container or jar.
 
Spread on whole wheat bread for added health benefits.
